The Land
The property contains approximately 96 acres, 10 of which is wooded and the rest is open, either as tillable acreage or pasture. The rolling topography and the soil types make this farm perfectly suited to a grazing farm. We intend to eventually convert all land to productive pasture and increase the sheep flock to utilize that pasture, perhaps with the addition of some beef cows in the future. For the present, a local dairy farmer is leasing approximately 1/3 of the farm.
